Tuesday felt like Christmas day in the Goodwin house. We were going to find out if Baby G was a boy or a girl. The last ultrasound I had the doctor was unable to tell because of the position Baby was laying in. So, we waited another four long weeks to find out. It felt like the longest day ever as Craig and I waited for my appointment.
My students at school are extremely excited about the baby. They were also excited to find out if baby was a boy or girl. One of them would ask me each day if I knew what the baby was and each day I would tell them I would find out on September 13th. Of course, on Tuesday, we had to have some fun so we took a vote to see what 5AG thought Baby would be.

Before the appointment I followed my mom's advice; I drank lots of cold orange juice. It certainly worked because baby was hopping around. The doctor found it amusing to see the baby move as much as she did.

Even with baby moving around, it was still difficult for the doctor to see if baby was a boy or girl. However, she was finally able to say she is 95% certain baby G is a baby GIRL! Craig and I are so excited.
We just HAD to do a little bit of shopping on Saturday. It was really cute to see Craig looking at all of the little girl clothes. He picked out both of her outfits. I love that the little pants have hearts on them. It is only fitting for our February baby. I picked out the shoes. I just couldn't resist the leopard print!

On Wednesday I go for a diagnostic testing so hopefully we will be able to find out if baby really is a girl. Either way, Craig and I are so happy that Baby is healthy.
Craig and I are going to ATTEMPT a video blog post later today to announce baby's name.
